Carl Basile is an attorney in the Pasadena office of Cunningham Swaim, LLP. Carl has 15 years of experience representing business entities and individuals in a variety of matters. Carl focuses his practice on the defense of aviation liability, commercial general liability, product liability, construction defect, and professional liability claims. Carl prides himself on fully understanding the issues surrounding not only the matter at hand but also the nuances of the business involved in the matter, enabling him to craft a resolution that protects the current and future interests of the business. Carl’s success in resolving matters through dispositive motions and through the mediation process shows a cost-conscious approach to achieving great results for his clients and carriers. While in law school, Carl was a judicial extern for the Honorable Katherine Feinstein of the San Francisco Superior Court. He earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and Witkin Award for Academic Excellence. Carl also participated in the Golden Gate University/University of Paris X Nanterre program, where he studied French and EU Law while living in Paris. Prior to law school, Carl worked in the internet and technology industry, building value for such companies as Yahoo! during the early days of the internet. His work was instrumental in making Yahoo! a truly global part of the World Wide Web.
